As some are reporting he "cleaned out his locker" and "packed up his stuff" (I assume that means from his dorm), I wonder if he'd transfer to Houston?

He'd be close to home and play for a coach who would let him do what he wants to do (score) and not care much about defense. Penders teams were never known for defense...

(I've been watching Houston tonight and it made me think of this)

If he does leave, I think he'd go pro. Be that NBA or Europe, or whatever. Don't think he'd have much interest in sitting out a year, and going through another year of classes.

If he is gone at this point I think it would be NBA/NBDL since it is the middle of the semester and I would assume mean some ineligibility.

I agree, I put on another thread if he leaves he isn't transferring its for the DL or overseas. He wants to get paid!

If he has left, he has left mid-semester and his grades are going to go in the tank. I'm not sure how a freshman mid-year transfer works, but you would think the F's he would get on his transcript after not returning to complete his courses are going to make it difficult to get accepted at another D-1 school. I could be wrong though.

You're right, he'd have to go a JC route that way.

I think he could Ws for Withdrawals which wouldn't be as bad as Fs but still wouldn't be good for his transcript.
