I'll Admit I'm Pretty Excited About This Season

The past few years I have tempered my excitement about OU hoops. I love Lon and think he was a great hire, but knew it would take a little time to return to respectability year in and year out. I think this team will break the postseason non win streak with or without Thomas. I think there is plenty of guard depth. Post will still be a slight issue but I think better than last year. Now if Thomas gets eligible soon then I think this is a top 15 or higher team all year. Really Really like the job Kruger and his staff has done. Hope Lon sticks around for several years.

Me, too. But, even if he isn't there is a lot to like about this year's team.

If everyone stays healthy, Bennett takes the next step typical of most juco players, and Lattin develops into a player who can give us quality minutes off of the bench, I don't see any reason why this team will not be better than last year's team. Add Thomas to the mix and we could be in for the most exciting season since Blake was a sophomore.

I very much agree with you Ardmore. It sure makes me feel extra proud that Coach Kruger is such a classy person too. I would sure like to see Thomas play this year but, the way the NCAA has treated us on other kids I'm not holding out much hope. It should be a fun year for OU hoops regardless of Thomas and I look forward to seeing what this team can get done.
