I think that's where we'll land.

If anyone else remembers, hopes for the tournament were not very high the summer following Osby, M'Baye, Fitzgereld, Pledger, etc. all leaving!

Then, Buddy, Isaiah, Ryan all got phenomenally better, and we ran our way to a 5 seed, laying the groundwork for what we did this season.

I think we will see a similar year next year.

I think we will see HUGE improvements from James, Odomes, Buford, and Lattin.

I also expect Woodard to be a 1st team All-Big 12 guy.

None of them will turn into Buddy, but the Big 12 will also be much more down than what we've seen these last couple years, as Iowa State, West Virginia, Baylor, and Texas Tech will all take pretty big steps back.

McNease will also improve, and from what I watched in practice the other day, Matt Freeman can shoot the LIGHTS out. He'll step in and help right away.

McGusty is a stud, Grandstaff can shoot the lights out, Doolittle will compete for minutes, and Darion Strong will provide depth and some more outside shooting to bolster the backcourt.

So I think a 5/6 seed next year is what we'll be looking at.

Kruger has another good team lined up for us!

This is certainly possible. However, it's also possible that we struggle big time. We need major leaps from several guys to get to that level.

To me, that is our ceiling (seeding-wise) next season. Something in the 4-6 range.

Our floor should be a something in the 9-10 range.

Ryan got eligible - after sitting out transfer year.

I think we win 15 games.

20+ in '18.

Losing 50 points per game out of your starting line-up.

I like the freshmen potential, too, but it's all potential.

No. 15 games? Let's wager....

Not putting money against OU. Bad karma.

But regarding the 15-win prediction, assuming the OOC schedule is similar to this year, I stand by it.

If they make the tourney, I'll gladly take a mocking.

15 wins is ridiculous.

From 1982 thru 2009, 28 seasons I believe, OU had ONE season of 15 wins or less. One.

Some of you are going to look really bad when we easily make the Tournament next year.

This is right on. A 4 seed is probably the ceiling for next year. An 8 or 9 probably the floor.

it's not all potential. Woodard, lattin, AK, mcnease, buford all have final four experience.

Saying we are a 15 win team is laughable

But most on here were saying that Ryan wouldn't even start for us, and that he was marginally better than Casey Arent since he didn't get clock at Gonzaga (YES, people on here actually said that).

No chance we only win 15 games.
