If OSU drops their last 2 and we win the last 2, we will get the 3 seed in the Big 12 tourney. I think they lose tonight and I think Kansas St. could get them Saturday.

Wonderful comment from the color guy this game regarding Marcus Smart, "They have drama classes at OSU." "He earned an Oscar for that one."

The pokes currently getting "de-pantsed", but they will make a run in the 2nd half.

Sheesh, they were just plugging Smart for the Wooden award.

And this technical foul? Laughable. Utterly laughable.

I knew the pokes would make a run...they are mentally tough this year despite their coach. They will be a tough out in the the dance....I'm going to go throw up now.

Eight points in 76 seconds changed this game rather dramatically.

That game went pretty much as I expected it to.

ISU is an interesting team. They're going to be a very tough team to pick in the NCAA tournament.

When they're hitting their shots, they can beat practically anyone... but then they can also be off and look horrible. I really feel like they could make a run to the Elite Eight just as easily as they could exit in the first round.

I'm sure no matter how I pick them, they'll do the opposite.

I agree. I predict the sheepherders have peaked and will have a surprising loss in the NCAA tourney.

What are you basing this on?

OSU plays excellent defense, makes free-throws and doesn't rely on 3-point shooting. Those are usually pretty good attributes to have in March.

Yeah, OU looked really good in Ames down by 25 pts at one point.

The unreal optimism that comes out of OSU losing a close one on the road while OU struggles to beat WVU at homes is just hilarious.

OU fans on the edge of their seats to claim a 3 seed over OSU which in the end won't matter as OSU will get the better NCAA tournament seeding.

This attitude is silly. OU led all the way @OSU, and it took three or four lucky breaks for OSU to put the game into overtime...KSU only beat TCU by 10 in Manhattan...does that mean they're a terrible team?

How many good shooting games have they had outside of Ames this year?

I'll be inclined to have them losing early, unless they get a really favorable matchup. Maybe against a team that just doesn't defend at all.

We led all game against a team we beat twice already. Obviously you want to defend your team. In future, though, it helps to know what you are talking about.

As for seeding, that isn't locked in stone yet. I bet OSU will have the better tourney seed, but if you loss to KSU and exit the big 12 tourney early then OU would have a shot at getting a better seed. Our SOS and RPI are higher so I wouldn't start counting eggs yet.

Just a suggestion: Change your user name and go back to the OSU board where you belong?

I know what you're saying, but the fact that they're capable of exploding is what makes them a scary NCAA tournament pick.

Wait, OU finishing ahead of oswho in the conference standings wouldn't matter?

That's odd. Just a few days ago, another lunkheaded aggie was here bragging about a sub-.500 aggie team that finished ahead of a sub-.500 OU squad in the conference standings. It seemed terribly important to him.

OU is one game behind oswho in the standings with one to play. We play a relatively weak team, but on the road; oswho plays a good team, but at home. What's not to get excited about? If it were the other way around, aggie fans would be excited, and please don't insult our intelligence by pretending otherwise.

As for your cherry-picked comparative scores, OSU lost to ISU by 11 (and if you take away the gift four points they earned on Smart's laughable dead-ball flop, it'd be 15); OU lost there by 19.

But OU won at Baylor by three while oswho lost there by ten, and it's that win that would give OU the 3 seed in case of a tie (OU also smoked Baylor in Norman, while oswho barely escaped against them at GIA -- I mean, as long as we're comparing scores, right?).

So enjoy your double-digit loss in Ames; I have to say, that's a strange "accomplishment" to be touting on an rival board.

A 3-seed might matter when we're beating Baylor and you're losing to Iowa State again.

We all know who the third best team in the conference is. It would just be nice to have the seeding order acknowledge that.
