they are the best and most talented team in the conference right now.

I think Bill Self would agree with you. The Cyclones beat his team by 17.

Didn’t see game today, but that was the worst Self KU team I had seen the other night. I am still hoping what I saw is who they are. He will get them playing better, but I still see an early exit in March.

They've been playing well a good part of the season....and mostly without Wigginton. It's looking more like the Big 12 is wide open.....but we all know the title runs through Lawrence.

TCU, Tech and OU will also have something to say about it before it's all over.

I watched the whole game and the cyclone's backcourt was better than KU's and actually hit jumpers on their home floor. They didnt miss a beat with Wiggington out as they can't drag that freshman haliburton off the court. he's got arms long than Bieniemy's. fun group to watch.

Anyone but ku....

Red Face was sooo pissed when they got the T for 6 players...lol

yes. I watched a bit of the game too, and the Haliburton is the real deal. He made this no look pass early in the game that was just plain unreal. I could not believe my ears when they were saying he was only a freshman.

Also, for KU has been abysmal from 3 these past two games. 30% from three today and 19% against us.

Anyone on here want to make a friendly wager on who wins the league? I'll take KU any day of the week. I'll be thrilled if I'm wrong, but this is approximately the 15th straight year that after an early January loss, people overreact and proclaim KU isn't the best team in the league. They lost a game on the road, without their second best player, against a good team in a tough environment. I can almost guarantee ISU will lose some road games against teams they have no business losing to. Happens every year to the team who is annointed as the team to beat KU.

I think Kansas will end up as big 12 champs once again

They won a home game and we’ve played 2 confermce games. GMAFB.

KU will win the big12 again. They’re the favorites until someone takes it from them.

They will struggle on the road with that backcourt, but should still win the league.

Yep. Until proved otherwise

Do you still stand by that overmatched team statement you made during the KU game? I said this was a pedestrian KU team and we played our C game against them.

Yep. We have seen this before. This won't be the first Bill Self team that takes until mid-to-late January to fine-tune their identity and then turn it on. We'll see if it takes a little longer this year due to the youth and inexperience in the backcourt. I would like another shot at them sooner rather then later, but we don't get them again until the end of the year.

Yes, I fully expect KU to win the league and will gladly put a bet on it, and next year too, until proven otherwise

Also, I have to admit I was wrong on ISU. I was skeptical, but they are good.
