First, congrats to the team they played their tails off.

Ironic that we built this team using moneyball analysis so as to get 3 point shooters and then played good offense most of the year but below average defense. Then tonight we were horrible on offense and good on defense.

I think we had the toughest first round we could have drawn. They were big and hurley is the best big man coach in the game

He will always be a good tournament team as they know how to score in the paint. Makes them consistent.

Plus they are a continuous moving screen. Gets called during the year but never in tournament play. Bobby knight made a career out getting away with the same thing. Illegal but really effective and virtually impossible to deal with. Particularly when the kid goes downhill after the screen. Hurley can coach

I was pleased with the effort and the defense. It would have been nice to have some consistent scoring with Fears. I agree with you that we got a very tough matchup. There are teams advancing that we could have beat with the game we played tonight. Hopefully, we can build off this effort in the portal. Fears made some serious money tonight with his game.
