I can't see them being any less talented than Kelvin Sampson's teams.

Cam Clark
Romero Osby
Steve Pledger
Calvin Newell
Andrew Fitz

Those would be on par with any five on paper that Kelvin had.

They're missing rebounding and low post defense. The rest of the pieces are decent.

What?

And we will have a point guard in our starting five next year.

A. Your lineup is probably not the starting lineup.
B. Your last sentence is false, but I'm not going to delve into all of Sampson's teams.

Ebi Ere
Quannas White
Aaron McGhee
Jabahri Brown
Hollis Price

I would take this lineup ANY day of ANY team in the Big 12...that was a fantastic starting 5 that would destroy the starting 5 of OU the last 2 years.

Quannas White was meh, but the senior / junior group of the above was stout.

I agree!, I loved this team...Kevin Bookout was a freshman that year too (2002)

Looks like you compared current OU team, Hash with past OU teams Filet Mignon. Not much of a comparison. Put the hash in the trash and start over again.

Oh my lord.

PG: Quannas White (all big 12 defense)
SG: Hollis Price (1st team all american)
SF: Ebi Ere (All big 12)
PF: Aaron Mcghee (All-American Arguably the best player in the country his senior season)
C: Jabari Brown (big athletic shot blocker)

The current roster would lose by 30 to these guys 10 out of 10 times.

Not sure what a comparison to Kelvin's best team, and the best OU team since '88, really proves?

Last year's OU team had similiar talent to several of the early teams that Kelvin took Dancing. Several of those teams had limited post depth, and undersized inside players as well. But Kelvin put them in a position to succeed. Capel did not. We'll see about Kruger, but I think he'll definitely get more out of the guys then Capel did.

that the OP said he would take the five he listed against ANY Five Sampson had and then he was made to look foolish

There's a reason we lost to Indiana, and it was because Quannas White messed up his ankle.

Well, that and Indiana pulling crap out of their butts from distance......but that's a story for another bar and another time.

No question it would destroy these last 2 years then you add in that Sampson is a whole lot better coach than Capel.
