Who tomorrow?
a pass first PG like Harmon
For anyone who, like me until a few moments ago, hasn't seen any video of Mr. Iwuakor in action:

Victor "the energizer" Iwuakor is in the building ladies and gentlemen. Love his activity and non-stop motor he brings to the court. All the recruiting site articles say he's one of the primer shot blockers in the 2019 class. The timing and explosion of his leaping ability really stands out to me. His Hudl videos from a couple years ago are littered with games of 3 steals, 4 to 5 blocks and multiple double double games. He's not the tallest but he's not a clumsy big either. He uses his size to his advantage and is fearless. OU needed a guy like this that will be relentless on the glass, mix it up down low and finish strong in transition. He's a double threat when you pair him with a pass first PG like Harmon that can set him up in positions to succeed. IMO, he possesses some of the momentum swing type plays that can elevate others around him. Great get for the good guys.
I can't wait to see OU's transition game the next couple of years. Man, if OU can get Tyson Etienne in the backcourt with Harmon it will be a blur on the court. Throw in guys like Jalen Hill and possibly Malik Hall or Terry Armstrong and you are talking video game lineup. Are you kidding me with the athletic ability a team like this would bring to LNC. Trying to steady my excitement level here, but we've all tasted the sour and now it's time for the sweetness to flow.
For all the board detectives looking for clues to solve the defensive mysteries I'll leave you a puzzle piece and quote from Victor. If you don't believe him that's okay, he'd rather show you and over 20 other programs seem to agree with him. Hopefully his mentality is contagious with his future teammates.
“I just love playing defense, and every time that I get onto the court, my mentality is that I just want to give it everything that I have, and it has been working for me pretty good,” Iwuakor said. “Everybody really likes me. They say that I can guard the one through five.” :chestram2:
Yeah, I know Reaves will only have two years left to play, but I include him in the 2019 class since he will become eligible at the same time as the others. And given how many players we will lose after this season, that is perfect timing.
Ill go a step further. Terry Armstrong will be the best player in this class if he picks OU.
To me he's a top 10 NBA pick. Maybe most underrated player in 2019 class
Armstrong has been getting many crystal balls to Arizona in the last few days, unfortunately. Looking like the home state school will win his services.

Or the pickers are defaulting from one blue-blood to another. Sure, he could end up at home, but I do not think it is set in stone for him yet.
well, I'm gonna be honest with ya. while I would love to see him come here and I think he'd do very well in Lon's style of ball, I don't know that the Big-12 is the best conference for his particular skills to shine for the NBA scouts. he needs a wide-open conference. the pacific coast is probably better for his future anyway. but i'd still love to see him here instead.
I think itd be a great fit. We play fast and wide open and LK said recently, Defense the last couple years was unacceptable. I truly think we'll get back to fast but just dogs on Def.
Hed better. His coaching has been a joke. But I've always been impressed with his underrated recruiting abilities
What part of his coaching has been a joke? Scheme wise, pattern wise, system wise, decision making?
During the Final 4 run or Sweet 16 run what did he do that was a joke?
The only thing I saw would be post final 4 he recruited some guys who didn't have a mentality about defense & wouldn't adjust to playing defense. That's on the players for the most part, even though I wished he would've used the bench as a POE more often. But even that wouldn't be close to a "joke" on his coaching.
