First, good call on the Je'lon rumor. I don't read every post, so I have no idea why there was skepticism by many posters...but I bet there will be a lot less next time if you so choose to stick around. Most of us appreciate those types of contributions. If you are wrong once in a while, then join the club. The main reason I don't make many predictions is not because of the backlash, but simply because I'm not very good at making them...but you will also not see me reminding someone else when they're wrong, either.
 
Was just at the Dunkin Donuts here in Parma Ohio, and the gal that poured my coffee said word around the deep fryer is that Spangler is gone!

Don't know if I can trust my source though.:D

Nope, not at all. It's interesting to me as well. I just don't see any point in continuing to beat a dead horse. Nike was right about Je'lon. If he's not who he claims to be, that's another matter that will be dealt with in time.
 
Ada, the way I see it you've got a couple of ninnies on this board who torpedo about 90% of the BBall talk and inside info releases. Hell, some members of this board attend practice fairly often and STILL get blitzed by the ninnies for reports gathered from seeing things with their own two eyes.

Until you handle THOSE posters, these threads will be the norm.

It's pitiful.

I wonder if Kruger would be open to Je'lon changing his mind and sticking around.

Anyone know if that's ever happened? A player announced his intentions to transfer, but sticked around with the same squad?

I think Heywood wanted to do it on the football team but Stoops didn't let him. I have no idea if there were attitude issues besides the desire to transfer.
 
Problem for Je'Lon on the open market is that most have filled their schollies for this year ... and he hasn't shown much in two years here. He's got some skill and is a good defender, but offensively he looks pretty challenged from the games this year, though I think he can do better.

Personally I would want him back bc we see the potential when he is healthy, but how invested would he be? Probably too awkward.
