...think he'd be starting on a top-25 OU squad, much less playing starter minutes on a squad in the top half of their regional bracket?

I thought, given how Je'lon and Isaiah played at times last year, that he might come off the bench as a frosh. I am SO glad I was wrong, and that Je'lon is a vital bench piece -- while Isaiah has excelled as an off-ball player who has shot it really well at times this year (given that OU may face SDSU in the Round of 32, so much the better that Isaiah played gunner-style and got checked by their team last NCAA).

I am not only impressed by his demeanor off the court, but his poise as a freshman starter is truly a revelation. Despite his not being exactly automatic from the FT line, I would rather have him playing big minutes in a close conference game. Forte/Smart, Chery, Tharpe.... in spite of their scoring as individuals, I think Jordan may come up bigger in the tourney. C'mon, people -- own up to your crazy-seeming optimism or realistic-hedging pessimism!

I thought he would start day one. Posted that several times.

But I do think he hit a bit of a wall late in the season. Hopefully the ncaa dance will rejuvenate him a little.

I hope during this downtime Lon has put some people with blocking pads under the goal and made him finish with contact

I thought he would start day one, but I didnt think we would be a top 25 team. I thought we would be a bubble team this year

This is also what I thought back on November 1st. The team has exceeded my expectations, and Jordan has also.

Good luck to them all in Spokane.

I thought that Kruger would give him every chance to be a starter, but was 50/50 on if he could would be the whole season. I completely expected us to be a top 25 team.

Kruger had no other choice - we have no other true PG on the roster. With that said Woodard has really surpassed expectations, he's gonna make a huge jump next year.

I didn't know if Jordan would do what he did do this year but I thought that he would have to be this good for us to be a Top 20 team and make the NCAA Tourney. I did think he was a better pg prospect than Stevie Clark,

Yeah the college season is longer, more physical and stressful then high school. Jordan wasn't the player the last several games he was earlier. Glad he is a Sooner though and he will only get better.

I've been impressed by his poise and how he stabilized the pg position. He did struggle at the end of the season, but he's been a pleasant surprise.
