I scrolled through to ensure there wasn't another post on this and didn't see one... so if I missed it I apologize.

It appears we offered this kid who just passed Lance Stephenson as the all time leading scorer in New York state high school history.

I haven't seen much or read much on him... anyone know much about this kid?

He's averaging 50 points a game as a junior. He still has another season and a half to add to this record. I believe he's from the same town as Jimmer Fredette and models his game after him. Kid is a sniper. Would love to see him in a Sooner uniform...Top 150 player on Rivals, but I bet he climbs up the list a good bit. Size isn't great but that hasn't stopped Trae Young.

Yeah I saw this via twitter... first time I had heard the name and saw we offered so was curious. I watched some videos and he can shoot for sure. Not a great athlete but can score for sure. He is listed as a PG but with DH in that same class I'm assuming one will be the 1 and one will move to the 2 if we get him

Would love to have a kid like this. He's showing a BYU offer, is he mormon?

Nice find, BigDLamb! Kid appears to be a baller.

Hey guys, I've been coming to this site for years, though I've never posted. First and foremost, thanks for all the info, posts, etc, especially for a guy out in NY (now in Florida) who doesn't have access to the inside info you all can provide. I'm on here an unhealthy amount a day sifting through stuff and it's just great haha.

Anywho, I figured this would be a good one to chime in on since Girard's dad went to my high school (Shenendehowa) a few years before I did and then went out towards Syracuse to play at Lemoyne (where John Beline once coached). The younger Girard is up the road about 20 miles or so and, like a few have you have said, is a pure shooter. He's not going to do much driving, and has obviously feasted on lesser competition, but he's a true legit athlete and UMASS actually offered him a dual-scholarship to be a QB (they are 1AA). Just the fact he's on the Rivals 150 list is pretty cool or a kid from such a small school (and yes, Jimmer was around these parts too). Someone in a different post the other day mentioned Tim Heskett as a blast from the past, and that seems to fit the mold of this kid, though Girard has more size. Kelly Newton and Eric Martin come to mind a bit too.

Thanks again all!
