A high caliber recruit has more effect on NC title contention in basketball than other sports but, in essence, what you say is true. We should have a nice core back but not NC title worthy.

Ive told you guys where I got my info, from a UK fan. This UK fan is credible. He told me UK is trailing at this point and that he thinks OU is the favorite RIGHT NOW.

You guys clearly know that things change on a daily basis in recruiting but I thought I'd just pass this info along because this guy has been dead on in the past

Fair enough. Since Gary is hearing OU has a legitimate shot at Randle, maybe the information you received is credible. I'd give my right arm if you're right, that's for sure. Signing Juliue Randle would get our program back on track on a national scale almost overnight

I just watched some highlights of Randle for the first time in a long time.

I'd forgotten how good he is. For some reason I had it in my head that he was an Elton Brand/Jared Sullinger/Jarnell Stokes type who dominated below the rim. Uh... not exactly.
