I dunno either. All I'm saying is that the transcript story doesn't seem to add up IMO. How did Tiny pay his $25K+ tuition and not a measly $3K? Believe what you wish. That "loan" was spending money IMHO.

The only argument we REALLY had on this subject was that you guys kept ignoring what he REALLY paid for the house in question and whether it should be allowed.

I only said it didn't smell right and SHOULD be investigated. You guys act like it should be a free-for-all.

I don't know and don't claim to know. I assume the NCAA is looking at it, just like the governing body in Texas is looking at the Smart case.

I've never paid for private school, so I don't know the ins and outs of how it all works, but maybe it was an oversight by the Gallons...

He has 3 other rental properties per the articles. So why would it be so unreasonable for a guy that has 4 rental properties to rent one to a friend? You might not have but I know a lot of people that have rented property from friends because since they were friends is was less than what someone else was charging. This happens all the time and their kids aren't All world athletes.

I agree. This story doesn't READ like that and it COULD be true. He only bought the house to rent it to the Smarts. That's how the timing makes it look. I guess we'll see.
