648 Uverse in Dallas

We are still #3 in the conference with two road wins, zero home losses.

I think Washington is playing the best I've ever seen her so we gotta be careful.

Just about anyone the Sooner ladies play can't be overlook

I have no idea how KU beat Tech, even in Lawrence. KU is a team that shoots about 33% from the field, 29% from three, and isn't particularly good at rebounding. They caught Tech on a cold night from three, 3 of 17. KU didn't really play well. They did shoot more free throws, 11 of 19 to Tech's 7 of 13. It just looked like Tech was flat and never aired up the tire.

Washinton is a 33% shooter. Let her shoot!!! Don't foul her. Let her shoot!!! Let them all shoot.

The Sooners have had pre-game. I didn't see any kids in the seats when they were taking the pre-game shoot-around. It was empty. Wonder how early it was?

Game is live on Uverse in 12 minutes.

KU is 7-14, 1-9 in conference play. The Tech win ended a 27-game conference losing streak.

OU #20 in AP and rpi, #22 in ESPN.

Not counting kids, are there 250 adults in the arena? For those of us working, keep us informed.

The score is 28 - 17 w/ 7:20 to go in the 2nd quarter.

The said they expect a total attendance of 10K. There was a school bus backup and the kids are still filing in. The officials told the announcers that they love doing this game because the kids don't yell at them. ;)

Peyton Little, Gabbi Ortiz, Maddie Manning: 30 points, 12-13 FG
Entire Kansas team: 28 points, 9-37

Not sure why we still have our starters in at this point.

On a related note, I feel bad that Derica is getting her fewest minutes of her career. She averaged 10 minutes/game as a sophomore, 21.8 minutes as a junior, and now she's down to just 8.1 and has not played in 6 games.

We've been substituting freely throughout the entire game.

The score at the 4:00 mark of the 4th quarter is 83 - 47 (if I caught it right just before they went to commercial break.

Looked at the stat's, looked like a solid game on all fronts. Glad to see the girls get the win. Loved that they shot well. Hope this buoys their spirit and drive for the home stretch.

Well, that was fun. I still don't know how KU beat Tech, even at home.

KU actually shot slightly better than they usually do from three (33% rather than 29%). But, they shot 27.7% overall. I think they normally shoot about 32%. It's a mistake not to let them shoot. Fouls are unnecessary.

Washington was 3 of 20 from the field.

Maddie had 19, and Peyton had 16. Gabbi was named star of the game. She had five of our twenty assists. We did well in setting people up today. We also hit some shots. Everything looks good if you settle down and hit shots.

Gabbi is hitting 46.5% from three in conference play. Maddie is at 44%. Peyton is at 33.9%.

Maddie is at 42.4% overall. Peyton is at 42.3%. Gabbi is at 44.4%.

As a team in conference play, we are shooting 35.5% from three. It is rising as Gabbi and Maddie shoot more.

Great game girls...Lots of energy today....Bring that energy to Bedlam on Saturday. Did I hear right? Is Dan Hughes retiring from calling our games??
And as always, I am looking forward to INOREF's post.....He/she is the most negative poster on here, so I want to hear the negativity about this game....

It's Carpenter who is retiring from calling basketball games. He'll still be doing MLB games.
