I dunno man, is losing a game on your home floor, snapping a 30+ game win streak, not enough of a "wake up call"? Did they really need to lose a game to a 9-12, 0-8 team to finally wake up? Or are they just not very good right now?

I said after our game with them that the only real difference between us and KU right now is Withey, and I got mocked for it.
But I stand by it. This KU team is not particularly great.

They may well beat us down on Saturday, of course. They still have Withey, and like he said, he makes them significantly better. But this is a game we can win.

That said, I don't like the fact that they lost this right before us, because they will obviously be super focused and determined. But I'm glad that TCU won a game, because I feel like they'll be less desperate to eek one out against us.

There's a thread on Phog.net in which multiple people are stating that Self and his wife have recently separated. I only mention this because they seem to be placing partial blame for this loss on that.
