But 95% of those clowns would leave their jobs for a $2.00 an hour raise and not even give 2 weeks.

This isn’t isolated to OU. It’s like that everywhere. Most fans are bandwagon and they jump at the first sign of trouble. I hate social media because everything is instant gratification. People have a stupid thought in their dumb heads and it comes out immediately on social media. Stupid.

It's not just on social media. People are just REALLY stupid and unhinged these days.

I served on a jury for the first time a couple of years ago (2021, I think). I was floored by how a room full of people couldn't think thru things logically. Not a difference of opinion, per se, just an inability to think thru and articulate basic thoughts. Scared the heck out of in terms of ever needing a jury of my peers to decide my fate.

It's always been that way before the money became visible, before the internet and social media. When a player leaves, fans blast them. When a player joins us after leaving another school, we defend them and embrace them. That's the nature of the beast.

seems like in the past....most players left because they weren't ever going to break into the starting lineup.

I had a very similar experience and you’re right, it is very scary. I was blown away how some couldn’t think through basic logic without emotion. It’s sad.

The sad part is if he does what he’s supposed to do he ll spend 3 years in college then head off to the league. He ll be able to send her wherever she wants and the money will be that much more. The benefits of staying in OK for his college ball will last a lifetime for him.

It’s these circumstances that just make you sad because Stone is still a kid and the way it looks he has a load of responsibilities and people sucking him dry. The people closest to you are the ones you have to be the most careful about. If he did end up in Miami you could almost guarantee it would end poorly, glad it worked out for both sides.

If Stone stays at OU four years, he's liable to make more in those 4 years than a lot of people make in their life time. So yeah, he can take some internet criticism when part of my money is going to make him a millionaire before he is 20.

He already is. I'm excited about the QB and RB we have coming in. Ott, the RB from Cal, is a Nagy find.

The guy is a scouting freak. He scouts players, negotiates contracts, deals with families, and frees up the coaches to coach.

They have seats...you purchased them. That's the transaction. If you have a problem with how money is allocated after you get what you paid for then don't buy season ticket.

Until this year not a dollar I've spent on season tickets has went directly to an OU player as a cash payment. Yes, that is changing, but it doesn't change the fact that I will absolutely not donate a single penny that is ear-marked for NIL. Not to OU directly, and not to any outside Collective or anybody else that is paying players.
