For me, the key statistic today was assist to turnover ratio and valuing the ball and possessions. Wisconsin had 8 assists to 7 turnovers ( about a 1:1 ratio ) while we had 14 assists to 5 turnovers ( about a 3:1 ) . Mr. Woodard led by example with 5 dimes and ZERO turnovers. If we hope to win those tight NCAA tournament games and reach the FF, we must value each and every possession, each and every night. Tonight we proved we are capable of doing just that. Even though Wisconsin is a little down, nice quality win guys !!!

One other thing that amazed me was how Wisconsin didn't make a two-point basket until there were about five minutes to go in the first half. OU's defense rendered them almost helpless for awhile, on anything but a wide-open three.

Thank goodness the Badgers were missing those wide-open three pointers, or the game could have been much more competitive.

Key Stat: 7-33 (Wisconsin 3-Point Shooting)

Another Key Stat: Experience rules. OU played 4 seniors, including 3 senior starters. Wisconsin played zero seniors. The experience factor will be reversed next season when OU visits Madison.

Valuing the basketball is such a beautiful thing. Wins you a lot of basketball games as well.
