If I were to pick just one key to a Sooner win, it is rebounding. We cannot give them second chances to score. Blocking out is critical.

Johnson is a game time decision. If she doesn't play i see OU winning kind our easy

One key is to avoid what happened to visiting teams today. Both OSU and TTech were out shot at the line by the home team by 20 free throws. That was surprising - and is almost impossible to overcome.

It will be a difficult environment under any circumstance.

Making shots we can't go through one of those lulls where we don't score for 7 minutes. Oh and limiting turnover- oh well maybe making shots will work

When we beat Baylor in Norman last year, Sharane, Peyton, and Gabbi were going strong. Gioya was slumping somewhat, but dangerous. This year, Peyton and Gabbi haven't been playing at peak form recently, and Gioya just returned. Kay Kay is doing a bit better than at this time last year, as is Maddie. But, in order to beat Baylor, we have to have stronger performances from our most experienced players.

Playing them early, like we are...

Having more points than them at end of game??? dumb, couldn't help myself

Turnovers:
Kay Kay 4
Gioya 3
LaNesia 2
Gabbi 2
Maddie and Vivi 1

I had Gabbi with four that she caused. Gioya wasn't ready to play much yet. Maddie and Peyton can't hit. We need Maddie or Peyton to hit some threes. Derica would be OK.

Treece has trouble hanging on to rebounds. She seems to think that once she has it, it is secure. Has lost at least seven or eight by just having them taken out of her hands (not all in this game). Vivi was star-gazing.

We were OK with the starters in. Probably beat our starters by about four or five.

Ice cold. But hanging in there. Could say stop the turnovers but that's redundant and you gotta realize Baylor is going to cause some. KK looks strong.

I think this will be a game in the 2nd half. Just my feeling

We have 3 major, obvious flaws so far in the game:
- Turnovers
- Giving up defensive rebounds/poor blockouts
- Ice cold shooting

That's why we're behind. Honestly I think we're playing pretty well outside of those areas. We are pushing the ball pretty well. We're forcing a LOT of Baylor turnovers as well. The substitution strategy has been strong. We're handling their backcourt pressure. We're physical. Especially in the 1st quarter, it seemed like Maddie and KayKay constantly had their hands on the ball, forcing tips and some extra possessions. If we heat up, stop turnovers, and block out better, we can come back. That's it.

I wish more of our kids would look to drive inside, Manning is having a hard time shooting tonight.

I really like this lineup!

T'T
Peyton
Gioya
Lanesia
ViVi

T'ona is everywhere! She reminds me of Kendra Moore. Her speed allows her to take over the game.

3 point game!!!!

Should've pulled to a 1 point deficit on that last 2 on 1 break, but Little wasn't alert for the pass, turned it over, led to a 3 point play on the other end. Stuff like that... Grr

Yep. You can't make a mistake against Baylor because they'll exploit it very quickly. Same with that poor 3 point shot by Treece.

All of our girls may be down a tooth or two by the end of this game.
