I didn't get to see the game as we were engrossed in binge watching Netflix's "Making A Murderer" and I forgot to record it.
From the stats it looked like we were in one of our becoming-all-too-regular massive scoring droughts in the first half and shot our way out.
So glad to see Peyton warm up. Now do it again.
Disappointed in KayKay field goal percentage and it sounds from this board like she was, once again, missing more chips than she was hitting.
Free throws a problem again? If so, that sounds like it's turning into a big problem for the staff.
Glad to see Maddie was our second leading rebounder. I think that's a positive.
However, I keep waiting for her to show up and be the savior Syb and others have proclaimed her to be. She hasn't done it in a season and a half, and, frankly, I'm not sure she's ever going to do it.
Right now she isn't in my top 15 or 20 OU players of Sherri's tenure. Doesn't mean she won't be great though. It just means, with a year and a half left, she's running out of time.
It seems, so far this season, that leadership on the court is still a major problem.
This team, right now, reminds me more of Morgan's last season than it does a Big 12 title contender or one that will get into the second round. They just couldn't get it together.
From what I read and have seen, though, there's still a good possibility the ladies can make that leap.
We just need that one big win, perhaps over Texas or Baylor at home; something that let's the team really believe they can do it.
Sunday was a valiant effort in a hostile environment. I believe these girls can get it done.
