Impressed with the guards on the team, especially Kobe. I knew Kobe had ball skills but I didn’t expect to see the scoring ability displayed so far. He has made some jaw dropping plays. He may be this year’s Soares, the unheralded transfer who turns into a star under this staff.

He and Fears are a formidable backcourt. Both can run the point or play off the ball. Hopefully they can get us to the tournament.

The Elvis addition got pissed on a lot. Mentioned as a step down from Uzan plenty. He’s already had two games out of five that were better than any game Uzan ever played in two years at OU.

Biggest difference? Doesn’t play scared.

I would be lying if I said I say this coming.

But. I knew he would be good because of 2 things.

1 his catch and shoot 3 numbers were very good.

And 2. He started at Dayton which means 2 things.

He can play defense. And he is a hard worker.

And those things translate

He’s ready for the big stage. Moreso than the other transfers, you can tell he’s played in big games.
