Lineup with Injuries

This is another example of people overvaluing our guys. If another team’s equivalent of Hugley was out, people on this board probably wouldn’t even be aware of it because he is a 7th or 8th man who scores a few points a game and is crazy inconsistent. Again, every team deals with this during a season.

Well, Porter has played Luke the last month, so it predated the Hugley injury. But also, why not try going small? Play Moore at the five. Luke shouldn’t see the floor.

He played 8 minutes and he knocked down two threes. If not for those made 3s, he likely would have gotten his typical 4 minutes or so he averages. Definitely not 16.

Playing Moore at the 5 and Soares at the 4 is an intriguing lineup, as it gets the best 5 guys on the court. We likely would have seen that tried some today, but as discussed in this thread, Soares is also hurt.
