And when the offense isn't clicking or you are playing a great defensive team... Just start clearing out for Alondes.

He made something happen on pretty much every drive or iso he had... It needs to be part of the offense.

Lon decided to just take alondes out in the second after he made 2 buckets instead.

His contribution shows what quickness can accomplish and at the same time illustrates how little of it we have.

That was puzzling.. if lon gets a good recruiting class (it wont matter anyways.. but im a sucker for hope and a good recruiting class), im waiting like 15 games into next year before i start bringing signs or starting chants to replace him

Good portion of 2nd was Williams ISO

I would wager it was like 3-4 possessions, with all but 1 successful. He had a 3 somehow not go in and that was the only one that didn't result in something positive.

Here is the thing. Williams can't play defense for some odd reason.. Like he is brutal! 2. I don't believe he's a "great" shooter. 3. He legit has no offensive moves. He's out there trying to "out athlete" everyone and sometimes it does work. But when he doesn't get by his defender with a simple move the possession is wasted. He doesn't create well for others. Hopefully for next year he can add a few more offensive moves to his game.

That being said, he's my second favorite player on the team and I think he should get more minutes. Harmon could play a bit more too in my opinion. Reaves shouldn't pay 35-36min every game.

He picked up his third foul. Also Baylor was attacking him on defense and he wasn't doing well.

He managed to later pick up his 4th and 5th fouls so it is hard to complain about his playing time.

I just don't know if I believe that.

You are right, he is not a great shooter. He is a decent shooter that is getting better, but that's not really his game.

Definitely don't agree with this... he can get to the rim on anyone. He is very quick, great handles, great leaping ability. A lot of it is athletic ability, but he can definitely handle the ball and get by people. And he is a good passer.

I think the Nolan offense would work well with him. Clear out, or set a simple screen and let him do something.

He's not very good. He's not the worst defender you've ever seen, but he isn't very good. THAT can be improved, and he should be a big cog next year.

I watched the tape again... I think you would be surprised on how many 3s were given up by Harmon. If anyone stood out to me on defense, it was Harmon, not Alondes. Minimum of 5 three's because Harmon wasn't in the right spot or can't close out.

I agree that Harmon was bad last night defensively. Not only on closeouts but got beat off the dribble quite a few times. Williams still isn’t a good defender yet, getting a lot better though.

I mean, Williams gives up 3s all the time!!! Also fouls 3pt shooters all the time! His foot speed on defense is not good or he's just not trying. Dudes just drive by him and for being the best athlete on the court every night that shouldn't happen. Harmon is legit a good defender for being 6ft. He takes charges and got a couple steals last night.

As far as Williams ball handling/making moves discussion. I just don't see it. He gets by guys because he legit has a step on them to begin with or "out athletes" them. Last night the moves he made to get by guys were one hard dribble to his right or left. . Which is perfectly fine, but he needs to be able to cross guys up more or add something different. If he does that I think he could be a guy that averages double figures next year easily.

Fast break charge was a perfect example of him not having control or another move to go to in that situation.

While discussing Harmon.... I would like to know why every time he drives to the rim he ends up sprawled out on the floor... Rarely are fouls called but when he drives to the rim he seems to always end up amongst the camera crews

Probably got those calls in HS
