Just some random thoughts.
I hear a lot about the family atmosphere at OU. When I hear UConn players and ex-players interviewed I hear how hard Geno is on them and how he always challenges them to break through their comfort zone and perform above the limitations they have placed on themselves.
No sure whether the family atmosphere is an asset or not.
Schools that recruit top ranked players and excell, UConn, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Baylor and Stanford (tho they are a little short this year).
Schools that recruit top ranked players and do not excell. North Carolina, UCLA, and Texas.
Recruiting rankings are probably more suspect in the womens game but I agree with the concept of who is recruiting the player is a more accurate evaluation of skills.
Schools that win consistently without a lot of top talent. Iowa State, Georgia, Maryland and Oklahoma.
Not sure how to rate Louisville, Miami, Florida State, Duke or Tennessee since Pat retired. AAC or ACC whatever is a very overrated conference. Their teams usually disappoint. Duke, North Carolina, NC State, etc.
