Does anyone think TCU will present problems for the Sooners Saturday?

Every team in the Big Twelve is capable of presenting problems. TCU did win at OSU and Kansas. But, they lost at home to Baylor---and OU. They aren't likely to play strong defense which is what OU has had problems with.

I attended the game in Fort Worth earlier this year, and one advantage we had was our height. KK was able to score quite a bit due to their lack of height and her athleticism. It was one of our most impressive games this year in my opinion.

Peyton stole the ball several times, and we generally played very well. Both teams played up-tempo so it was a fun game to watch.

I'm hopeful we will play well and win by 15 or so, but as with any Big-12 game it could turn out to be a challenging game.

I also thought it was a fun game to watch. You're right, TCU isn't very tall and that worked to our benefit. They are pesky on defense but I expect we will be better prepared for their pressure this time around.

I expect the Sooners to win easily by pulling away in the last 10 minutes if the game. Kaylon and ViVi should have good games inside.

They certainly can. We can't go long droughts of not hitting shots. TCU can shoot the basketball very well. Their full court pressure is not bad, we have to break their press and make them pay. We should dominate the post, and get easy baskets. If we play smart and make the defense react, it should be a good win, if we struggle, I don't like TCU hanging around late in the second half.

I think thats pink out. 12,000 pink t-shirts. Should have a good crowd.

In the last game Carter had 24 points and was 6-8 from 3point land! Think she can do that now?

Just some random thoughts.

I hear a lot about the family atmosphere at OU. When I hear UConn players and ex-players interviewed I hear how hard Geno is on them and how he always challenges them to break through their comfort zone and perform above the limitations they have placed on themselves.

No sure whether the family atmosphere is an asset or not.

Schools that recruit top ranked players and excell, UConn, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Baylor and Stanford (tho they are a little short this year).

Schools that recruit top ranked players and do not excell. North Carolina, UCLA, and Texas.

Recruiting rankings are probably more suspect in the womens game but I agree with the concept of who is recruiting the player is a more accurate evaluation of skills.

Schools that win consistently without a lot of top talent. Iowa State, Georgia, Maryland and Oklahoma.

Not sure how to rate Louisville, Miami, Florida State, Duke or Tennessee since Pat retired. AAC or ACC whatever is a very overrated conference. Their teams usually disappoint. Duke, North Carolina, NC State, etc.

I suspect that the recruiting rankings are more suspect in the womens game. I agree that who is recruiting the player is a more accurate evaluation of talent.

I'm a little concerned based on our play the last five games.

Last time we needed everyone hitting and they were. Got to have that today too (as much as to prepare us for the final 4 games).

Kay-Kay has to show up and not be a fouling dud.

Subs have to make a difference.

We should win, but could definitely get upset. They hit some good threes last time that narrowed the game more than once.
