LSU message board

My favorite comment was the one that said that we were awful on defense. I guess they'll find out Saturday.

Kenpom has us as the #13 defensive team in the country and LSU's defense is #103. If we're awful, what are they?

Delusional??? :ez-laugh:

Most are very complementary of buddy. "Defending buddy" thread

In fact most say we will win the game in that thread.

i sure hope none of you guys or any other sooner fans start clowning over there.

Maybe Bounce won't see this thread... :ez-roll:

I'm looking forward to how OU handles the media hype of the "Big Game" between Buddy and Simmons. On paper OU should win it and maybe with ease...Guess we shall see. This type of game could give us a look on how OU will handle things come March.

I wonder what the top topic discussed by students on the LSU campus is this week.

Comments about OU winning this game with ease, on paper or otherwise, blow me away. This is a ROAD game against a team with talent. Any road win is a good win.

IMHO, OU's biggest advantage is that the Sooner's best players are seniors, while LSU's best player is a freshman. I like our chances with a more veteran ball club.

No matter, I expect a tough, hard-fought game.

Good luck...seriously.

Went to sugar bowl...what a bunch of backwards a$$ jack wagons.

Tiger bait...blah blah blah.

I'm expecting a tough game...if OU gets flustered. We've played at Lawrence and Ames...much tougher than lsu I'd imagine..so not expecting that.

If OU is rolling could be a tt type game. Tight then a little more comfort. If not, could b very tight.

Contrary to beliefs...sec has 3 teams with 15 wins..a/m losing at ark...500 team..with 19 sec

I feel like this is the type of game we would have lost last year. It will be tough, as LSU is undoubtedly talented. BUT, this 2015-2016 OU team is Special. OU 78 LSU 73

Must be great, their board went from 3 posters to 10 this year with Simmons.

Take a look at those 3 teams' schedules though; LOT's of fluff, esp. South Carolina. Their best win is against Memphis, a game in which they got some serious, SERIOUS home cooking (63 FT's & no that's not a typo). A&M's best wins are against that Baylor team OU just whipped, & an unranked Gonzaga. How in the HECK that merits a top 5 ranking is beyond me. Kentucky, to their credit has at least beaten Duke (who's now reeling), & Louisville, so IMO they've got the most impressive non-league wins by a good margin.

Wonder how much LSU is paying Simmons? Has to be huge to live in that dump of a state? smells there.

Shaq said he was paid well at LSU when he was there. facts are facts....

lol, that was my point...I was on the ipad...didn't get my point across. Another poster in another thread commented on Simmon's leading the sec in every category...or close. I made the comment it's the sec..implying it isn't the toughest conf and yes even though that is a good thing to do it's not "super".

Actually the sec is (as far as records) the worst of the P5...in teams with more than 15 wins.

Guess we'll find out sat.

I really hope the Big 12 can take care of business Saturday. Outside of Allen Field House, the SEC is avoiding some of the tougher Big 12 venues:

Georgia at Baylor - Baylor is the better team and should win this one at home.

Kentucky at Kansas - Hyped matchup, and huge Kansas advantage in AFH, but UK is catching them at the right time.

Mississippi at Kansas State - A home game the Big 12 should win on paper, but Moody could take over.

Tennessee at TCU - Gross.

Vanderbilt at Texas - This seems like a tossup. The Drum isn't exactly a menacing home court advantage.

Iowa State at Texas A&M - ISU is hot, but this ain't Hilton. Those Aggie mouthbreathers will be out in force.

Oklahoma at LSU - As others have said, on paper, this is a game OU should win, but it's going to be tough in Baton Rouge.

Oklahoma State at Auburn - Both teams are bad. I haven't seen much of Auburn, but I assume they have the advantage at home?

Texas Tech at Arkansas - I think the Hogs will beat Tech @ the Bud.

West Virginia at Florida - I feel like WVU should win this if they don't shoot it like they did vs. Texas. But Florida isn't bad and this is an important game for them.

This game may end up being 52-47.
