LSU message board

What's funny to me about their board is the first poster spells it Heild, then everyone else does too. I wonder if they know how to spell yield? 😂

I really hope the Big 12 can take care of business Saturday. Outside of Allen Field House, the SEC is avoiding some of the tougher Big 12 venues:

It evens out because last season, OU, West Virginia, and Iowa State were all at home, while KU, K-State, Texas and Baylor were on the road. This year, its switched.

Absolutely agree. I wasn't complaining. I'm just saying it's a factor that could swing things toward the SEC. I think the SEC especially benefits from getting WVU, ISU, and OU in their buildings. But that's just how the cookie crumbled this year, so the good Big 12 teams just need to go prove it on the road.

lol, I made their board! sweet...

If you clowns are reading...I'm not "still mad"....the game was what it was, your fans on the other hand....

we actually had YOUR police tell us not to go down a street after the game because YOU were out of control...tards.

I will say I have been to several LSU sec home games and the "fans" in nola are not a good representation of true LSU fans .. they are the nola lsu fans and that is not really the same thing ...

I hope OU and lsu figure out their home and home football because that will be a great and fun trip ..

Interesting that some of them bring up J. J. Redick as a comparison for Hield. Redick was amazing to watch. He could, and did, shoot from anywhere on the floor, and it always felt like it was going in. And from three-point range he shot... wait for it... 42%. Which would be good enough for fourth best on this OU team.

Granted, the degree of difficulty on some of those shots was crazy and he didn't have two or three lights-out perimeter shooters to pass it to, but he did have Shelden Williams.

I seriously doubt this will happen anytime soon. Perhaps you're not aware of the many OU fans who have reached out to Joe C to let him know they are open to a home-home series with every major power in college football EXCEPT LSU. I don't have first-hand experience dealing with them, but their reputation seems to be earned. During football season, I turned on a game which LSU was at Syracuse. I texted my nephew who goes to school there and asked him if he was at the game. I also mentioned the "reputation" of LSU fans. His text response? "OMG they're awful. All they're doing is talking trash to our fans. I've never seen anything like this at a home game."

I know the atmosphere in Baton Rouge is crazy for visiting football teams/fans. Is it the same type of home field (court) advantage in Bball? I've never really heard anything about them being tough at home, like a Kansas.

From what i gather they are alot like our fans. When the team is good or a really good team coming in to play them they show up, when not the arena is half full.

actually lsu fans in baton rouge .. are pretty nice to visiting fans ... not like the NOLA experience at all ..

I agree. I live in Baton Rouge as an open OU fan. If you can take the occasional ribbing (or tiger baiting), you should have no problem here.

I hope to see more than a few OU fans at the game! It's a sell-out, so I'm betting it will be a good atmosphere for our guys. And if anyone needs food/drink recommendations, I'd be happy to provide them.

well, that's good, because the idiots at the Sugar Bowl were off the chain. I should add, the ones in the FQ. I actually ran into a group of nice 70 yr old women while going into the game that wanted a pic with an OU fan...I obliged.
