LSU vs Kentucky

LSU up 23-15 late in 1st half. The further along the season goes the better this LSU team is gonna mesh. Simmons is a HELL of a player and is putting up Blake Griffin type numbers. Gonna be a tough one mid season.

Now that LSU has Hornsby back, like you, I believe LSU will continue to get better and better. Even though Kentucky is very talented, they simply can't shoot this year. They are really missing the Harrison twins and Devin Booker.

I don't like one game samples (as in tonight), but at this point, I don't think Kentucky is even a top 20 team right now. They are a very good rebounding team, but they got smoked on the boards tonight. And they just don't seem to be efficient at all. Ulis is a good player, but he is over-hyped as compared to his actual skill set.

On the flipside, OU will have their work cut out for them down in Baton Rouge in 3 weeks. LSU isn't very well-coached, but they have skill and can get after it on the boards.
