If any of you are watching the Iowa State - West Virginia game, WV is playing about as bad as any team in the history of the game. Ok maybe that's an exaggeration, but it does make you wonder how they played so well against us.

I wonder if our style of defense - which may well be dictated by the style of offense we try to play - is part of the issue. But it seems to be a regular occurrence no matter who we play. They find ways to score that are usually not in their arsenal.

By the way, there is almost no one in the stands - at least that is how it looks on TV.

WV came back (so to speak - since actually Iowa State simply mangled the 2nd half) to win a very low scoring game.

How do these teams that score 80 against us fail to get past the low 50's so often?

The girls have out-performed what most of expected when the year started - and after non-conference play ended.

However, the one weakness that would likely make them so much better is - undoubtedly - rebounding.

In Big-12 Conference games, OU ranks 4th in rebounding margin. WVU ranks 5th. Of course this does not account for the head-to-head matchup.
