Looking over the box score and noticed he had 5 blocks last night. Is that a misprint?

10 pts, 6 rebs, 5 assists and 5 blocks is a pretty solid line as a freshman

I didn't notice him at all when we played them.

he blocked lace dunn going to the basket 2 or 3 times. In the past he would not be able to hold himself back and would jump to early resulting in an obvious foul. Last night he showed patience waiting for lace to get the shot up before redirecting it elsewhere. This was probably his best game aside from the missouri state game.

Markel is gonna be a really good player for them during his career.. Very good athlete, good scorer, good defender.

That will be a big difference between OU and OSU going into next year, is athletic ability

Markel Brown, Lebryan Nash, Michael Cobbins, and JP Olukemi are probably more athletic than anyone on OU's roster. The only guy OU has that is in their league athletically is Cameron Clark.

If OSU signs a good point guard they have a chance to be good next year... I overestimated both Ray Penn and Keiton Pages' ability to play point guard this year, and that is why they have struggled so much.

He played pretty well against Baylor in Waco also. He's had a really solid freshman year. I think he'll be quite good for OSU.

Osby is in their league as well, Goff might be if he gets its together when he comes here. Heard a lot of good things about his athletic ability but I'm afraid he'll end up like Ryan Wright in looks the part but struggles.

Oops, forgot about Osby. He is definitely a great athlete.

OU great athletes: Romero Osby and Cameron Clark
OSU great athletes: Mike Cobbins, JP Olukemi, Markel Brown, Lebryan Nash

Brian Williams was a really good athlete in high school. I would say in the same level as the other OSU players mentioned.

All those guys except Nash are on the roster now; what is their deal...is it mostly PG play?

Is the other kid from Louisiana (Williams I think) supposed to be at least a great jumper?

OSU has a lot of interesting pieces for next year, not sure how they will fit together though. Outside shooting is going to be a huge issue for them again.

Its losing a very good post player for legal issues, horrendous point guard play, and zero 3pt shooting.

Cobbins is redshirting this year so only Brown and JP are playing. They have both shown flashes of being a really good players, but they are to inconsistant. I think PG play has also been a problem too.

I honestly haven't really watched you guys play that much; I thought Paige was lights out from 3-point line? Are teams guarding him differently or what? Other than OU games (which I can barely watch), I've barely paid attention to this season.

Page has had to play the point too much + drawing the opposing teams # 1 defender = a down year.

Dowell has really improved a PG. Hopefully Gulley can make a return from his injury.

If Nash or another player can be the # 1 option then it will open Page back up.
