Kentucky, going to be a heck of an earlier season test.

If OU wins they play the winner of Washington-Virgina and vice-versa if OU loses.

Could be worse. I'm not saying I expect a win there but we will play a team with little experience going in.

They will be more talented at every position on the floor and on the bench, but, they will be pretty inexperienced as well.

Should be interesting..... or a major blowout.

exactly...

I'm not gonna say it's gonna be fun to watch this matchup cause there is a strong possibility it could go the way of the major blowout...

the good thing is, like ABD said, they will be inexperienced just like us and early enough that they will still be trying to find their identity...and if OU does turn out to be bad this year, this game is early enough to where hope will still be alive...

Will be a good experience, win or lose. Prefer this much more than going to the Alaska Shootout (refuse to use the word "Great") as we did last year.

Anyone going to Maui? Some friends and I talked about it, the ball that will be played in the Lahaina Civic Center will be top notch.

I really hope that we get Cam and Cal in asap. I think with these two guys our team will be much better if these guys play the way we know they can play. With that said. I'm glad we play kentucky. Let's take our ship out to sail right off the top. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!:clap

The best part about this tournament is Hawaii is 5 hours behind us (or is it 7?), so most of these games are not played in prime-time.

Just think if we were playing UK in a tournament in our time zone or any of the other 3 time zones of the continental US...ugh.

We should petition the tournament to have this game played in Indonesia so the game is played while most viewers in the US are sleeping...LOL

This team is too inexperience to have any chance of beating Kentucky. I'm not saying its going to be a blowout but we don't have 1 player on our roster that would crack their top 8 rotation. They have 2 guys on their team(Jones/Lamb) that we lost out on that would be starting for us if they came here. Defensely...Brandon Knight is going to destroy us.

yeah, it could be interesting. UK has lost their starting 5 and of the guys they have coming in, Knight and Vargas are the only two I expect to come in and be impact players right away. Alot depends upon how well Capel gets his core guys ready like Fitz, Pledge, Cade, Cam, Nick, and CJ. Also depends on how well he get's the pgs up to speed.

I think playing Kentucky is great, this has to get the guys extra motivated for the next 3 months.
