Mavs max 3 second rounders

Cuban may not always make the best moves, but he'll always be able to field a competitive team, and he's more balls than anybody else in the NBA. Jerry West could run laps around him, but Dallas will be relevant after Dirk's days are over.

lol @ Cuban having "balls". What they call "balls" in Texas is what smart people call stupid decisions. When Cuban cries like an 8th grade girl about the refs is that "balls" too? haha

Anywho sounds like Chris Paul, Blake & JJ Redick are lobbying hard for DJ to stay and he's having second thoughts. Would be hilarious to see Cuban go into Psycho mode if he switches. It was a really stupid decision on his part to leave LA and a title contender for Dallas and scrubs Wes Matthews and Chandler Parsons. But DJ is from Texas and it's well documented how dumb Texans are.

I'm in Oklahoma, and are you one of these supposed smart people?

Have you ever seen an 8th grade girls basketball game? Cuban's tantrums don't resemble that in any way.

The point is that a big part of the ignorant confidence of Texans is mistaking reckless failure with courage, calling it balls and considering it a virtue instead of a flaw. No better example of this than W.

@WojYahooNBA: Sources: Conversations that Clippers teammates have had w/ DeAndre Jordan in past 24 hours give players confidence he'll return to them.

Would be hilarious.

Good. Celtics have Dallas' 1st round pick next year, I think. Need them to unload players after Jordan goes back to LA, where, things will still suck for him.

He has the balls to do what needs to be done, and doesn't care what anybody thinks. He makes mistakes, but so does everybody else. I'm not saying he's the best in the game, but the Mavs were awful in the 90's, and it's remarkable that they win 50-60 games year in and year out.

True but it's only top 7 protected tho. If Dallas tanks they will tank HARD

Not remarkable when you have this guy....

DJ came to his senses. and AbD is correct. Dirk is the #6 scorer in history. Cuban is a buffoon. His balls are not licked.

Dirk is a great player, but it's not like we're talking about Shaquille O'Neal or Lebron James here. I'd take KG over Dirk, and he had a bunch of 30 and 40 win seasons in Minnesota. Kobe wasn't looking so hot in LA between Shaq and Gasol, either.

lol @ KG over Dirk. You obviously don't watch much NBA. Dirk dominated KG on a nightly basis. KG is a star. Dirk is a top 10 all time superstar. He was so good Cuban could botch the roster and coaching staff with his buffoonery meddling and Dirk would put whoever on his back. KG would miss the playoffs.

Also lol @ KG over Dirk... Dirk is one of the best players, and one of the most unique talents the world has ever seen. He is unbelievably good. His talent and skill level are off the charts. KG doesnt even come close to equaling the talent Dirk has.

Lol @ Dirk over KG. I'm taking the 9 time all-NBA defensive first teamer who was also a dynamic force on the offensive end.

KG on defense against Dirk ... torched for 40. Look it up. Total mismatch. Watched it for years.

Wow. Dirk is top 10 of all-time?! That's crazy-talk. He's barely top 10 in his era behind guys like Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Duncan, and Garnett.

Dirk did not dominate KG on a nightly basis. In head-to-head matchups, Dirk edged KG with 22.9 PPG vs. 22.3 PPG, but KG had the better FG% (52.0% vs. 46.4%), more assists (4.4 vs. 2.1), more rebounds (11.9 vs. 8.2) more steals (1.3 vs. 0.6), and more blocks (1.2 vs. 0.8). Dirk did have the team advantage as he's gone 19-17 against KG. That's not domination, though.

Dirk was a better scorer than KG, but the gap between those two in terms of rebounding and defense is downright embarrassing.

Dirk has literally never scored 40 points against KG. You're talked out your backside.

2002 playoffs. Even though KG had been in the league 3 years longer and was hyped as the big ticket Dirk thoroughly dominated and embarrassed him. Averaged 33 & 16 for the series including 39 and 17 in the close out game. Total mismatch. KG is not in Dirks league.

And how stupid is it fior somebody to say the # 6 all time scorer who beat Lebron Dwade Bosh by himself is maybe only top 10 of his era. Ignorant.
