It was very specially stated Saturday when everyone was giddy about the potential we will get both. Someone said (paraphrasing here) “I wonder how the negative crew will react now that we are in the lead for two of the highest rated players at their positions.”

OU is likely going to lose Overton to TTU and possibly Garrison to UT. Just absolutely horrible.

Their NIL game has to step up. UT is hosting 5 or more top transfers this week. And the money will flow like wine. Here, OU had to search under couch cushions to find a tiny bit of money.

This is your specialty. Quoting one person and attributing to the whole OU fanbase.

A haul of Pedulla and Garrison would be great for OU. But just because one person on the thread says they are among the top available in their respective positions doesn't mean they really are. IF OU had more NIL, they wouldn't be the prime targets

Yet schools with top money (Kentucky for Pedulla and Texas for Garrison) are/were involved.

You are wrong on this one, and really, what you are obviously doing, is setting up an excuse down the road that we don't have the talent to win more games.

Pedulla and Garrison are plenty good enough, and by most accounts, ranked towards the top of their positions.

on3 has pedulla as the 47th ranked portal player and BG as the 6th best center

the athletic has pedulla as the 16th best guard (39 overall) and BG as the 6th best center


BG is one of the better options out there and it depends on your definition of "highest rated players at their positions"
Pedulla is a good player but there are a lot of other options there

No need for name-calling. :p (also welcome to every discussion with WT)

We all just need to relax. I know we are all antsy with the "will they, won't they" portal visits and commits. The silence is rough, but we all want the same goal. A successful Sooners squad.

Overton info should be heavy today. CT basically confirming he is gone by all the tea leaves and everything. So we focus on Pedulla/Garrison and hope there are more visits planned.

It sucks watching Texas get 3 big ones and 5+ visits soon
