If we look at player A and compare his career stats to that of Garrison's I would assume we would all take this improvement/steady play throughout his career:We also need a big who is good offensively. I am not saying he can't be that guy -- just that it is far from certain.

Player A didn't flash much at all during his career based on the stats on paper but he's a guy I assume most would take and actually has improved a lot as a guy the team could go to for offense if needed this season. I don't think looking at player A above on paper that he would have been a guy many on this board would say we NEED go go get that guy but he's an absolute vital piece to the team he plays for and IF Garrison becomes half the player that guy is for his team, he's well worth the investment. Garrison is always Big 12 tested and looks to have done pretty well being thrown into the fire as a Freshman.
