McNeace/Odoms practice dunks

Odomes looks more and more like a major recruiting steal.

He couldn't play for Ou but wish Mead from the football team could just warm up for the dunk line.

Agree on Odomes being a steal, but the dunk by McNeace isn't bad for a kid that is the 4th player in the post rotation. That guy is very athletic, too. Especially for a 6'10" player. He still may be a year away, but he can be a very productive player before his 5 years are over.

The athleticism on this team is off the charts. I can't wait for the season to start!

Thanks for posting, OUHoops!

When those guys jump it reminds me a lot of myself at that age. About the only difference is while their heads are a couple inches short of the rim, my finger tips were a couple inches short of the rim. It would have been very cool to have been able to jump like those guys. Odomes really gets up. McNease is 5 inches taller than him.

I think McNease will surprise a lot of people. He's the horse that Allen (3rd in district) rode to the State Finals in Texas' largest class. Think about that.

He was at least Mid Major just off ability alone.

I know of two mid majors that were going to offer him but they didn't because someone told them that he was only going to play football.

I know of one SEC school who said the same and then he committed to OU after when no one had offered him.

He is built to play basketball, but football was geaked over his physical abilities.

McNeace is showing improvement but look out in a year or two. He has a chance to be very good as he matures physically.
