Had a 20 point half time lead and it has been cut to as low as 4 or so this half.

Currently 58-50 with 7:55 left and to be Oregon ball out of the timeout.

Ratliff now in foul trouble with 4

Demon or however you spell it is starting to ball for Mizzou, 17 points.

Oregon is unconscious from behind the arc.

Dang, heck of a game. If Kyle Singler's little and less talented brother hadn't held onto the ball too long on that rebound off the missed free throw Oregon might've got a decent shot off.

Great game, this is why I love college basketball.

Dana Altman is Oregon's new coach. I think he'll turn that program around. Maybe not this year, but he's obviously a good coach and the Pac 10 stinks. They may get close to 20 wins this year just by beating crappy teams.

I think Mizzou is really feeling the fatigue of 7 games and 7,000 miles in 14 days. We weren't as aggressive with the press in this game and generally looked a bit slower than normal. We now have six days off before playing Vanderbilt.

sawyer,

what are the chances tony mitchell steps foot on the court for mizzou?

I have no idea.

There were a lot of positive rumblings about a month ago, but there has not been word from anyone at all for a few weeks. There's never even been confirmation on what the NCAA is even looking at (test scores, core grades, whether or not to accept the Florida school).

A decision should be made soon if he's going to be able to play this year. I have no idea at all how to handicap the odds of that actually happening, though. What I've read is that his core grades and ACT score are high enough, but that may be wrong and there may be some other issue.

Really sucks that the NCAA... which is a billion dollar enterprise... can't get this figured out sooner. Get the paperwork, check the numbers and make a decision so the young man can move on with his life, either at Mizzou or somewhere else.

i'm almost positive that he has retaken the act this semester.

I think he has. The scores were available for that test a couple weeks ago, so the NCAA should have everything they need to make a decision. They just haven't yet.

I heard them say that on the broadcast last night... Wow, that is ridiculous. 7 games all over the country in 14 days.

All over the world, actually. Two were in Cancun.
