Khadeem Lattin vs Mitchell Solomon.
Hopefully Khadeem can hold his own against someone as awesome as Solomon.
I really don't think it is possible. Solomon excels at fouling and turning the ball over. He is just "way better" than Lattin and would easily "start at OU".

I've seen this Lattin v. Solomon quote used sarcastically several times on the board, but where did it come from originally?
It came from a poster who has admitted he was wrong since then.
So, let that be a lesson to you. Don't ever make a mistake on this board. Forget and forgive is a lost art in some circles.

Or don't say a worthless aggie is better than OU player. That is what bugs me more than anything. I could get an OSU fan making that argument but I just don't understand how or why an OU fan would ever say that unless it was comparing Byron Houston or Big Country to a role player.

to be fair, when the statement was said, it was atleast a reasonable discussion. Lattin had not really turned it on yet. He has played at a different level in conference play. And last year they were pretty identical stat wise
It was not a reasonable to say what the guy said. He said way better when not one statistic backed up that statement and when no reasonable OU fan could have watched last season and come to that conclusion. I get it might be reasonable for an OSU fan to say it because they are biased towards OSU but part of being a fan is being biased, supporting your team, taking sides. I just don't get why some OU fans think they need to go out of their way to prove how unbiased they are to the point of saying things that are actually biased against OU.
Lattin was better last year, he was better the first six weeks of this season and he has been way better the last few weeks.
I can turn that around and say only a person with Crimson glasses would say that Lattin was clearly better last year. They were identical numbers wise.
No they weren't.
Per 40 minute numbers from last season:
Lattin: 10.3 ppg 57% fg 14.7 rpg 1.5 apg 1.5 spg 2.2 bpg 0.7 TOpg 5.1 fpg
Solomon: 9.9 ppg 50% fg 10.1 rpg 1.1 apg 1.5 spg 0.9 bpg 3.2 TOpg 6.2 fpg
That's a huge gap in rebounding, blocks, turnovers, shooting % and fouls. All pretty important for a big man.
