Akolda had some moments again yesterday. He was also out of defensive positioning on several plays but I am glad that Coach Kruger had him out there.

AK is learning. He is coachable and he wants to learn. The best is yet to come.

I know it's way early, but doesn't it seem likely that AK will have a shot at the NBA? He's only just begun, but he's already showing more athleticism than some expected, and I think he's only going to improve.

If he can stay healthy he's absolutely an NBA player. He's athletic, powerfully built, and a legit 7 footer. That is an NBA player for the shot blocking alone. If he ever actually lerans how to play basketball, look out.

He is coming on. I like his FT stroke. As he improves defensively, the guards should be able to apply more pressure knowing he will intimidate drivers.

You can't teach size and athleticism like he has - at the least he's gonna get a cup of tea on some team's roster as long as he keeps working hard.

Right now, he's nowhere close. the NBA needs bigs who can play D and rebound, and it's hard to know if he can be good enough in those areas because he's so out of game shape. He's also very raw in terms of his basketball IQ.

Because he's not an elite athlete like Deandre Jordan, he'll need to really focus on those skills if he wants to stick somewhere.

strongly disagree with this ..

he will get a shot if he even marginally improves over the next two years. Plus athlete for his size and legit 7 footer with a nice looking shot.

I know 7 footers aren't everywhere, but Manyang will need to improve a ton to have a shot at getting drafted. Now I think we'll see improvements very soon just by him getting in better shape.
