My All time Team

A team really does consist of more than 5 Players.... That being said, a team without Nolan Johnson on it does not do Sooner Basketball Justice!

I absolutely loved Nolan Johnson. He was great around the rim and came up big in some clutch situations. But for his 2 year career, he averaged 11.5 points and 5 rebounds per game and was a terrible 3 point shooter. Granted, stats aren't everything, but I think I'd take guys like Tim McCallister, Nate Erdmann, Corey Brewer, and even Ebi Ere before Johnson. Of course, that's just my opinion and it's certainly no knock on Johnson.

If it's about constructing a "team," I'd think long and hard about putting Ernie Abercrombie on my bench somewhere. I think he'd be a perfect "glue" guy that would run through a wall if you asked him to, and he actually put up damn good numbers for his career.

Thats true...but being a good pro shouldn't take away from their dominant college career.
True but it'll be a good evaluater of greatness to me. Sometimes it isn't if a player like Hollis Price is just too small for pro ball. But OU's just put more solid post players in the NBA than guards. Hield will get a good chance. Corey Brewer is about the only other one that looked like a pro player to me at guard. Maybe at the time I woulda said a Price will make it or maybe Erdmann or Minor. But fact is none of them have all the skills Buddy's got.

Ere had a shot at the NBA. He was big enough, and athletic enough I think.

It's funny that Eduardo played for so long. Never would have guessed that.
