MY Take on the TVGZUYZ Game

If we finish on half of our shots at or around the rim, we win going away.

Otherwise, I think it is hard to make season predictions based upon the exhibition or Opener.

I still anticipate and predict we will rebound a little better than last year, defend a little better than last year, shoot free throws a little better than last year and be a little more consistent on offense. This being said, I don't know what these small improvements will mean from a wins and losses standpoint.

In any event, we won't have to wait very long to get a better picture of this team. Our schedule gets a lot tougher beginning with UTSA on Monday.

I think it looks like it's going to be a long year based off my first watch of this team.. defense has actually vastly improved i will say.. so far.. still not a very advanced basketball IQ team overall.

I'll go through each of my player impressions later.

And i know it's early season and the coach wants to experiment but there are 3 players that should not be getting minutes already imo

Also really chaps my ass still that lazenby got actual regular season minutes last year and just now.. coach can finally see he's not an OU player..
