Napoleon Out At Stoolwater!

Terrible move, both financially and competitively.

He went to the NCAA Tournament 5 out of 8 years. That's reality in Stillwater, and, I would have wagered some money they would be back in the NCAA Tournament again next year.

Seriously they lost 20 games this year and had 1 NCAA Tournament win in 8 years. He wasn't coming back.

5 of the last 6 years OSU had a losing record in conference play.

You're right, Nick. The handwriting was on the wall for Ford. He was a good recruiter, and by all accounts a great guy. But the style of ball he wanted to play was just not going to be successful in a league like the Big 12.

I'll always remember him booing the officials from the sideline! :)

Who will they hire? Calipari, Izzo, Coach K? I bet they all have Holder on speed dial!

I hope they don't get Marshall.

If they do, it will be like 1990-91 all over again (Sutton made OSU highly competitive from GO). He'll make Bedlam a great rivalry again. More importantly, another great coach will make the conference better. It's already a great "regular season conference", but upping the ante might make all the teams a bit more competitive in March.
