KU vs Oregon

KU is going to have to make one of their patented comebacks. Mason can't do it by himself.

Oregon's played really well. Those two early fouls on JJ really hurt KU.

It's looking really grim for the Hawks. When you can't buy a 3... really uncharacteristic for them. Think that they are going down.

Giving up a offensive rebound then allowing a 3 as the clock went down sunk em. Decent tournament for the conference. But no final four.

How many games did we see them get behind and then make some kind of semi-miraculous comeback? They played with fire all year long and they finally got burned.

OU is still the last big 12 team to make the final four.

No doubt in my mind that the better team lost, but give credit to the Ducks for an outstanding defensive game. Their 6-9 Bell played like he was 7-0. Tremendous game by him.

With all of that, if the Hawks could have hit their 3s in the second half, they win it. They had their opportunities, the ball wouldn't go in the basket. Hard to advance at this level shooting 20% from BTA.

Graham was total no-show.

Jackson was better in 2nd half but can't win when best guys don't produce.

It's not like they were playing in an unfamiliar arena....

I keep thinking about the KU fan I overheard last weekend. He said, "If we can't get to the Final Four playing 2 games in Tulsa and 2 games in Kansas City, there's something wrong."

Blue Dragons win the natty, Gawks get upset. Yeah, it's a pretty good night around my house. :dance005:

I do not agree with the better team lost..That hasn't and will never happen..the better will win every time

I thought I dreamt all those KU fans in Kansas City taking the L

Love that it's true

Bill Self may've actually been doing his best coaching jobs this year and last year because I'm not so sure Kansas is quite as talented as Kansas teams of the past. Not near as deep anyway. Really nobody inside that's been all that great. Good guards but KU's always good good guards. But they pretty much ran away with the Big 12 and had deep runs in the tournament both of the last 2 years. Oregon just kinda exposed Kansas issues inside.
