Harvard. Wow.

I think I read that the Ivy League schools hadn't won a game in 15-16 years. Crazy.

Props to Harvard, really only one way they could win this game and they executed the script perfectly.

Cornell was in the Sweet Sixteen a couple of years ago, lost to Wall and Cousins.

That Harvard/New Mexico game saved a pretty bland day of basketball, lots of poor play and blowouts with not much intrigue.

Note to self - If you want to force torture on someone make them watch Pittsburgh, Marquette and Cincinnati in a round robin. Doubt the rim is standing after they're done with it.

Plenty of poor play in Harvard/ UNM game, just happened to be moderately close as well. A UNM player actually dribbled the ball off his foot and out of bounds wiht about 5 minutes left. I thought I was watching a womens game.

Montana had more turnovers - 21 - than they did FG - 17. WTH. Actually the Cal/UNLV game was entertaining. UNLV is loaded with athletes but they just couldn't but a FG at one time missing 15 in a row. Sometimes they were almost too athletic. And, Cal ran that dribble in the lane and dump for a dunk play to death. You'd think someone would figure out how to stop it.

And I enjoyed every minute...no second of Mizzou getting their asses handed to them. Buh Bye! :woot

Kevin Durant did that the other night in overtime.

The Marshall Henderson show is on. 3 minutes into the game and 3 missed shots, 2 of them terrible shot selection.

Henderson was all the talk on KC sports radio this week since he is here this week for the tourney.

I didn't know Carl Blair transferred to UNM? :ez-laugh:

I dont think Marshall is wow-ing the pros yet. 5 minutes into the first half and ole miss/wisky only have 6 pts scored between BOTH teams.

This game is a 3 point shooting contest. They should just pick the best shooter from each team and put 5 balls at 3 different spots on the floor and whoever wins advances to the 2nd round. Geez. :facepalm

thats too bad.

I had a great time watching some of the smaller schools' offenses yesterday. Kids who have been playing together for a few years and they know their roles backwards and forwards - and they execute them. Not just a game of physical oneupsmanship as it has become now.

I miss college basketball from 20+ years ago ... not the pro minor leagues.

yep. he is that.

I am enjoying watching Albany. For years they have been one of those "surprisingly good small school" teams. We know that for a fact!

Hanging with Duke when they have absolutely no reason to other than their heart and determination. awesome.

I have seen WAYYYYYYY too much latitude given in favor of big school players by the refs the last 2 days.

I do NOT want this game reduced to a "who has the biggest shovers" endeavor. But that's what they are promoting. The big players are being allowed to smack the smaller ones into oblivion with nothing called. This takes any hope away for the smaller schools.

Thats not what basketball is supposed to be about.
