Good article and not a bad assessment of what OU will bring to the Big 12 this season. Too bad he left out our seven foot center, Akolda Manyang, as well as our redshirt freshman, Dante Buford, who will likely compete for a starting spot. Odomes and James are nice pieces to the puzzle this year, to be sure. But, this team arguably has more quality depth than last year's Sweet Sixteen squad.

Putting all of that aside, this is my favorite part:

"I feel like the best is yet to come with this team," Hield told the Oklahoman after he announced his decision to return. "My main goal is to go to the Final Four. Why not go there? It's my last year. Be the best player I can be and help this program go forward."

I don't think there's anything "arguable" about it.

We're replacing Booker with Odomes and James

I agree with you. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to deny that our depth will be improved this season.

On the other hand, when one uses the phrase "not arguable" on this board, it's a sure bet a challenge to your post is just around the corner. :ez-laugh:

I totally disagree with your belief that you must use the phrase "not arguable" on this board. I just have never ever seen anyone challenge anyone over their opinion here. Certainly I never do!
