New Recruit- Nick Thompson

didn't think he looked 6' 10". 6' 8" maybe, but regardless, kid is athletic and seems pretty aggressive.

From that highlight that glover kid looks really good and active...looks like an inside out kid, maybe we can get on him

The whole video Nick hung around the three point line....we really need a hard nosed pf and nick did not post up once in that video....hopefully it was just random segments were he was outside...but he was floating around the 3 point line...did have some nice drives but like I said we need a real pf

Glover was a highly recruited guy on the east coast. I think their are some issues with him though.

Sign him up.
The kid likes OU and sounds like a quality kid along being a pretty darn good player.

He's an improvement in regards to height and athletic ability at the 4. At this point with what little is left I do not think OU can afford to be too choosy in picking post players who have real size and some actual talent.

This guy is exactly what we desperately need. Coach Capel MUST get this done. Can you imagine our post depth if we land both he and Aziz? (assuming Tiny is back)

I was about to say the same thing. We need a hybrid 4 to match up with other athletic bigs in the league on D.

I like plenty of versatile players, that way you can exploit match-ups. No sense having all your players with the same skill set.

Yeah, just briefly watching some of the videos he looks to be more of a "hybrid" 4 than a true post with more emphasis on playing the wing.

Here are some photos. The files are too big to post and I don't have time to resize them so here are some links:

WOW! That kid can get up! That 2nd pic, his head is way up there!

He said he plans to put on more weight and get stronger in Hale's interview. With his frame, he could easily add 20-25 pounds during the summer and arrive on campus this fall in the 240 range.

sorry but I'm on the side of him not being able to put on 25lbs before he is out of basketball

I guarantee you I could put 25lbs on him before he left...of good weight.

Bumping this for those who haven't seen the highlights of Nick
