Next 10 games prediction?

5-0 at home, 1-4 on the road. Wishful thinking that OU steals one of @ Baylor or ISU.

I think we can win at Tech. The home game that worries me is KSU

wv worries me more. ksu shot out their butt against us in manhattan. last nights game proves they don't shoot like that.

I just wish we could play in your face defense...we sag off of everyone.

I think K-State led the league in FG and 3-Pt FG percentage in league games heading into last night, so I'd say last night is more an aberration than what they did against us. Obviously their normal level is somewhere between those two extremes. With the exception of last year, they seem to play us tough in Norman, and as many have pointed out, Wade in particular is a tough matchup for us.

It would definitely be nice if we had more guys who took it upon themselves to be lockdown defenders. RO is our best, but it takes more than one guy. Feels like we play good defense for stretches in most games, but don't sustain the energy/effort for nearly long enough.

I watched parts of the game last night......everytime I would tune in, KSU would be within five and KU would stretch their lead back up to 10 or better and I'd change the channel.

When I was watching, KSU was taking bad shots. Usually it was because KU was playing good D and sometimes it was just KSU rushing an early shot. They weren't getting a lot of open looks at the basket.

And KU was killing KSU by driving to the basket and finishing or dishing to the wings. KU has more than a couple of guys who can drive and finish at the rim. IMO, that's what separates KU from the rest of the big 12.

Absolutely right, and it made a huge difference last night. K-State left a lot of points on the table by failing to finish, and then KU would come down and score through contact.

Remember, one of ksu best players was out in that game and will be back when we play them in norman

Kansas had access to OU/WV and OU/KSU game tape but it didn't matter. OU's loss following the KU win was predictable due to the fact teams tend to slump a bit following a huge win. With two freshmen in the starting lineup it would seem even more likely to happen. Bama is good but not as good as KU, Wichita State, etc.

Another lesson learnt. I think we'll see OU return to OU/KU form tonight.

From here I can see OU going 8-2. Loss @ KU and either Lubbock or Ames.

So, should we revisit this thread?

Looking to go 3-7 in last 10 games of the season.

Will this team reach 20 regular season wins? Probably not.

NIT or NCAA?

I would revise my prediction (6-4), but I wouldn't know what to revise it to. I've pretty much lost hope in this team as they continue to regress. I believe they will win a couple of more games at least, but I don't expect anything special or positive in March.....they are too flawed.

After the loss to WVA, 9 games left, 2-7 or 3-6 and if OU loses 1st game at Big 12 Tourney becomes a Bubble Team.

:facepalm

okay...well, we've gone 1-3 for the first 4 out of the 10, 6 left

3 Home
3 Road

2-4 if we are lucky. That would be 3-7 overall....

Maybe not such a troll...

I love my Sooners but if anyone thinks this team is on a positive roll they are truly looking through crimson glasses.
