Ok, lets make some predictions.

Here is what is left:

Home Games: K State, West Virginia, Iowa State, Texas Tech.

Road Games: West Virginia, Kansas, Texas, Baylor.

I think we will win 5 of our remaining 8 regular season games. That would leave us 10 - 8 in the conference and 15 - 14 overall.

What do you think?

Home: 2-2 beating Tech , ISU losing to WVU, KSU

Road: WVU-loss, KU win, Texas & Baylor loss

That is sweeping the home games with West Virginia on that list. I don't see it. I think it is 4-4 leaving OU at 14-15 requiring a Conference tourney victory for the NCAA - this is the year that Sherri does not make the NCAA!!!

I agree....my prediction is 4 - 4.....Next year, don't schedule so many hard non-conference games!!!! We don't need to be playing U-Conn either.....

Bingo.

You are correct about UCONN, but Coale has them scheduled for the next 3 years.

I admit I haven't carefully checked it, but it seems to me SC mostly schedules non-conference out of town games against male head coaches.

Is that just my impression?

I think all 11 non conference foes had male head coaches.

I doubt the sex of the opposing coach has much to do with it. Too many other considerations are more important.

DePaul maybe

But Little Rock, Florida, South Dakota state are games we should have won, and could have been 14 and 11 or 13 and 11... I don’t think our schedule was that hard.

I think I lean toward Ollie's prediction. The way this team has played all season, they could go 2-6 or 5-3 the rest of the way. I actually think they finish on the short side, will be lucky to win a Big XII tournament game, but might get lucky enough to play in the WNIT, not holding my breath.

I think we could go 7-1, or 3-5. I lean to a split with West Virginia, wins over Iowa State, Kansas, and Tech, and losses to Texas and Baylor. The key game becomes Kansas State. Can we beat them in Norman?

To tell you the truth, Syb, I don't know anymore. Maybe. Perhaps.

This is the game. Lose on Saturday and the spiral could be like a freight train at full speed going down a steep mountain with no brakes.

Yeah, we're going to beat Kansas and Tech. Two of the most pathetic teams I've ever seen in my life at the college level -- in any sport.

But I don't think home court advantage means much to this team and we struggled to beat ISU and KState up there. Some might say we got lucky and pulled those games out.

At some point you think we have to bottom out (to get on the road upward) and I'm just not sure we've done that yet.

What would really drive us all mad is if we won every one of these last games.

This team could upset Texas. We have the right talent in the right place. But, we need something we haven't had for all but about two or three games. We need movement from the beginning. We had defense against TCU. But, we had zero offensive movement. Nobody got open.

I would think that Maddie would just say, "I'm not going to waste six years. Give me the zzoiudeklswha ball!"

I hope you are right about MM. But, her time to do something noteworthy is getting slim.

7-1? Not a chance. My guess is 3-5, 4-4 at best. This teams lacks fire. I'll be glad when the senior class is gone, to be honest. I'm really hoping Joe C. makes Sherri do something about the staff. She's comfortable, and she doesn't need to be. Pam seems to be the only doing something by way of recruiting. Sigh.
