next year returning minutes played %

Next year will be pretty rough if Jordan doesn't make a HUGE leap. We will be getting tons of PT for the guys who make up the future of our program though.

Jordan's just needs to be more consistent. His game has made the jump. He HAS to be there for us every game from here on out.

Id take Woodard over mason from KU.

Woodard is a very good Big 12 PG.

Woodard is in a tough position next year.. We need him to be THE GUY and score 15 16 a game I'm guessing, but he need to be a distributor for the young guys.

I don't expect Lattin to ever score more than 10 a game or AK at the center position. Buford I could see averaging 10-12 a game next season, James maybe the same.

I think next year will be a great defensive team, but struggle to score at times..

He's avg 13. So a jump by 3-4 points should be feasible.

Jordan played like a superstar during non-con, but since the first week or so of the conference season he's been mediocre. IF this team is going to do anything, we need the early season version of Jordan.

He also has Buddy as a teammate who tends to draw a lot of defensive presence which likely changes next year.

I know. I think he can handle it himself. He'll get a lot more shots as well.

Yeah I'm excited about next year. Probably the first year we won't improve(record wise) under Lon. So we finish 24-6 in regular season this year. Hoping to be around 28-8 or 29-8 when its all said and done. I am hoping next year we can go 21-11 or 22-10 with a tourney appearance. I think that will be a solid year.

I am not too worried about next season. I see three quality Big XII starters in Woodard, Lattin and Buford. I see lots of talent for the remaining two positions and plenty of depth. It will be interesting to see if Kruger uses it more next year.

Like to see James get in the gym like Buddy. The kid can shoot. If he has that type of discipline he could be really good.

I'm also hopeful that Odomes comes around and begins to contribute consistently next season. The kid certainly has the physical tools to do so.

I'm hearing James is already in the gym with Buddy. Dante is too. That may not mean they're spending as much time working on their game as Buddy and Isaiah. But I've been told both players are spending extra time at the practice facility in a determined effort to get better.

James will be a 4th starter. My only question is who will be the 5th.

Does Buford play a small 4 or a big 3?

With the extra ship it makes sense to try to nab a grad transfer if we can... Which could add another piece (assuming no Bolden)

I'd love a capable grad transfer PG to back up Woodard or allow Woodard to stay on the wing in case Strong is sidelined at all.

Don't think there a lot of grad transfers looking to be a backup. I could definitely see us adding a grad transfer to start at PG in '17-'18 if we don't land Trae Young though.
