Next years lineup

I knew that was coming. I tossed it up nicely.

You have no idea what we'll get out of them next year. I expect some improvement, but moderate improvement won't be enough. Offensively, we have some of the worst guard play I can remember in some time. It's bad. really bad. Harmon isn't going to be an elite scorer next year. JB certainly isn't. I haven't seen anything that makes me think Williams will be either, but he probably has more potential NEXT YEAR than the other two. Reaves probably has the best shot, but the dude is shooting 26% from three.

Like I said, we'll see. Better doesn't mean it'll be good enough.

Horrible guard play! 4th in the Big 12!

Gotta think they improve more than minimally but you’re correct. We’ll see.

4th in the Big 12 because of Doolittle and Manek on offense, mostly. And a DOWN Big 12.

Come on, you know our guard play, offensively, is offensive.

Because of ISU, TCU, OSU, KSU, and UT this really is a bad year for the Big 12. Those teams are very bad this year. Tech is down a little too. That is 60% of the league.

All of those teams looked pretty decent to good in non conference.

Except in no way are they “really bad”

And the league (at least at the bottom) will be down again next year. I expect OSU to be slightly better with their stud coming in, however, they do lose McGriff, Waters, and Dziagwa (all veteran key contributors). And you can make an argument that all of those teams you listed above will be, at best, the same or likely worse:
  • ISU - loses Haliburton, Nixon, and Jacobsen
  • TCU - loses Bane (by far their best player), Dennis, and Grayer
  • KSU - loses two of their best players (Sneed, Gordon) and their big man (Mawien)
  • Texas - don't know if Shaka will be there, but regardless I'm not optimistic about their current roster construct. If Sims declares, they won't be as good.

I believe, by default, OU finishes no worse than 6th in the league next year. But they are likely in the top 5 again....barring anything crazy.

I assume you are thinking he is going pro? On paper he is only a Sophomore so at this point he technically will be on the team next year.

Dude is Gone. Probably not even in school right now.
