If we dont land a transfer big next year may be rough. Losing Reaves is going to be a huge blow too.

Yeah I love our guards, but they lack size. Our 4 man will most likely be Vic or Hill which would probably be ok. Gotta go get a big with size that can rebound defend.. Don't care if they can score/shoot it at this point.

Go get two transfers.. 1 big and 1 wing that has some size/athleticism.

Why even play this game right now? Do you think there is any chance we won’t add someone, maybe multiple people, in late recruiting? It happens every year with almost every program.

I could see Brady and Alondes returning, though not likely, I would love either. Some guys do get better so I won't be stunned if any bench guy takes a big step, the staff likely has a clue who might. That said, we need a quality transfer in the middle, without that we will remain in purgatory.

CJ Noland might beat someone out. Definitely getting 1, probably 2 transfers if no senior returns.

I don't think a decision has been made yet. The consensus is before next season the athletes will get 1 free transfer.

Yep, you missed the transfers none of us know about yet. Did you have Mo and EJ penciled in the lineup this time last year when no one even knew who they were?

That’s exactly my point. It’s a fool’s errand to spend much time on this exercise when we can be certain that there will be guys on the roster we don’t even know about. This reminds me of spring training where fans are worried their team has too many staring pitchers or outfielders or whatever and freak out about how everyone will get playing time. Then before the season starts, multiple guys get hurt and the problem solves itself. There is almost no chance our roster come next fall looks like we are expecting it to look, so why worry about who will start or proclaim that the future looks bleak. And even within the guys on the current roster, there are things that happen that no one expects. For example, Reaves and Cousins being moved to the point. Two moves that worked out in a major way.

I don't think there is ever that knowledge with basketball. LK keeps it under wraps a lot more than Capel, and basketball recruiting coverage of OU is non-existent.

I hear we are in on a 7-5 guy from Zimbabwe and a 6-11 guard from the Congo. Heard Lon wants to redshirt them for two years though.

Or maybe bring in two guys who end up starting like he did last offseason, or a guy who turns into our best player like he did with Reaves. Or two guys who helped get us to the tourney in Reynolds and Calixte.
