Towards the end of Capels tenure I was pessimistic about OU's basketball future for at least the next three years. I lost any confidence in his recruiting when he said that he would recruit TMG again. Lots of highly rated players would mention OU but would go elsewhere.
When Kruger was hired, I was skeptical because I seemed to remember that he had coached all over the place and I thought that the money required was too much.
I now think I was wrong. I think Joe C has done it again and , looking around, this program is most certainly looking up. I dont expect much this coming year, but the year after that should be GangBusters.
