It's fair to speculate that he might not come back after going through this. Nobody is saying they HOPE he doesn't come back.

I'm probably in the minority here.....but I think OU needs him in the championship game. Might be a shortage of big bodies against either cuse or nc.

Well, I'm sure there won't be much "normal" about this week at all.

If he did come back, theres TONS and TONS of media opportunities and open locker rooms, AK would be subjected to all kinds of questions about his brother and how he's doing and things like that.

That may not be something he needs right now, I certainly wouldn't want to have to go through that.

Very good points. Also, for AK there could potentially be a guilt factor if he were to play. This is very common with early grief, many can feel guilty about having a good time... Obviously everyone handles it differently and grieves in their own specific way, but all these things can be at play and the poor guy just needs to grieve and mourn... He doesn't need to have his face sitting on the bench and be subjected to analysis by the sportscasters... I'm sure they'll comment on it and then it'll be over with since he's staying in Minn...

I'm sure he'd be a big help with the kind of bigs our potential opponent NC would throw out at us... However, I love this about Kruger and company, they believe, teach and I still in their culture that there are far bigger things in life than BBall, even winning a Natty...
